Original applications of the winners will be retained for one year by the Treasurer and will then be shredded. All other applications and evaluation materials will be shredded after the evaluation process is completed.
On all application forms applicants are given the option to agree or not to agree to allow their photographs, names and accomplishments to appear in local papers, on radio and in club newsletter.
This policy applies to donations received through all fundraising activities of the Scholarship and Bursary Trust, including: general donations, legacy giving and special fundraising initiatives.
All donations will be recorded and receipted in accordance with the rules and regulations set out by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). Donors’ names and the amounts of private donations are not made public without permission.
